The best day of the week to apply for a job and keep your resume from getting lost in the shuffle may be Friday. 

According to a recent survey from recruiting software company iCIMS, most job applications are received on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Here is the detailed breakdown of when most applications are received, according to the survey results:

Monday: 17%
Tuesday: 18%
Wednesday: 18%
Thursday: 16%
Friday: 13%
Saturday: 9%
Sunday: 10%

So, if you want to stand out, consider sending in your application in on a Friday or Saturday,  which are shown to be the least popular days for applying to jobs.
